And now let’s move on…
Change literally means something new, something different. And that is exactly what makes it look so scary. We are used to living monotonously. Every day to resemble the one before it. Everything to be secure, so we won’t need to adapt to different people and situations. And every time, when something happens, something that threatens the monotony we get scared and we clench to yesterday! We clench in what has been giving us security, what didn’t challenge us to fight, to prove ourselves and anticipate what’s coming next…
Because everything used to guarantee us security… the security that tomorrow is gonna be just like today and we won’t need to make an effort to do, to get or to achieve something more!
And change … ( read more HERE)
“…to realize, that exactly the yet invisible future, and not the already seen past, creates every situation in your present. The problem is that until now, everybody has taught us the opposite!”
These word really struck me. They made me think about a lot of things, and realize that I- what I am today and what happened to me in the past, is not a fruit of the past, but a fruit of my present. With each thought in the present moment, with each action, I challenge the reality to create and to allow me to go through a sequence of future situations, which will suit my notion today… (read more HERE)
“I recently realized that, my life is “sending me” people, in whom I can see my reflection- they have qualities, which I myself possess and that way I get to see myself from the side. Because people often point out something they see in my character and getting the chance to meet people who have the same qualities, is an opportunity to I get a deeper view of who I am… (read more HERE)
A beggar had been sitting by the side of the road for thirty years. One day a stranger walked by. “Spare some change?” mumbled the beggar.”I have nothing to give you,” said the stranger. Then he asked: “What’s that you’re sitting on?” “Nothing, ” replied the beggar. “Just an old box. I’ve been sitting on it for as long as I can remember.” “Ever look inside?,” asked the stranger. “No,” said the beggar. “What’s the point, there’s nothing in there.” “Have a look inside,” insisted the stranger.
The beggar, reluctantly, managed to pry open the lid. With astonishment, disbelief, and elation, he saw that the box was filled with gold. I am that stranger who has nothing to give you and who is telling you to look inside. Not inside any box, as in the parable, but somewhere even closer: inside yourself… ( read more HERE)
What about you?
It’s Monday and if you are eager to leave your house and go to work, then that means you are doing what you love, what you were born to do!
But if you are feeling sad, unsatisfied, depressed, that means you are doing “WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO and you are teaching yourself “to get used to it”! Think about it! Do you really want to waste your life, feeling like this every single day… (read more HERE)
Often people have the turn for adding in their life, what in reality isn’t there at all! We look for the hidden meaning, in situations, where everything is so obvious, but we still refuse to accept it. We look for some kind of a sign, for something small, that we can grab, so we could make it fit in the puzzle of the life, we got into our heads!
We accept hardships in life… (read more HERE)
“There were moments, when at night, surrounded by four walls, the silence was tremendously loud. It deafened every whisper of my heart, every hope, each desire… today, the silence is my best friend! In silence I manage to discover myself, to go deeper, beyond limitations, masks, pretence and fakeness.
The night is here, I am lying in my bend and I feel somehow in peace. Memories and thoughts are going through my mind, but I am just an eyewitness from the sideline. Today none of them manages to grab my heart, squeeze it, torture it and then throw it back at me- exhausted to death!
Today I am… (read more HERE)
People don’t live mediocre, because their true self is mediocre. They act this way, because they abandoned their true self! They adopted the false perception of people around them and started seeing themselves as “not special” and “not smart enough”. And because this is the way they see themselves, this is the way they act… (read more HERE)
It happens again. The emotions are taking over you. As if a storm is raging in your heart! You are trying to repress them, to hold them, to dull them You don’t want to feel, you don’t want your heart and soul to be rend by memories, disappointments, fears and dissatisfaction. You feel weak and helpless, but you don’t want the world to see you falling apart. You are afraid to share with others, to tell them that inside you are broken and that is why you bear! You stay silent and you pile up the pain. But in moments like this, the suffering is way too much and you feel incapable of controlling it!
And there you go, you reach out for food again. You hope that the… (read more HERE)
Then, I came to the old statement, that a person is capable of being strong, just when he is tired of being weak( read the whole post here)! I realized that every one of us should walk the path of disappointments, fear, self-destruction, the role of a victim and desperation… until we find out that we don’t need any of this! Until we realize that there isn’t anything more wonderful than being strong, confident and never kneeling in front of the hardships that life has to offer, but always moving, proudly ahead!
I realized that our life is something like a balance. On one side of the balance is our personality, playing the role of a victim- a person who is drowning in self- pity, apathy, desperation, fear and insecurity! And on the other side, is the… (read more HERE)
They say that it is the darkest before dawn. Just as darkness, follows the light, in life after happy moments, are bound to come less happy moments… But why resist the change? When the sun sets, do you resist the night? No, right? You just react in a way, that will help you get the most- you go to sleep, you take some rest, so when the day comes, you are full of energy! You use the darkness, so you could enjoy the day!
Why do you …(read more HERE)
“And yet, I found I could survive. I was alert, I felt the pain – the aching loss that radiated out from my chest, sending wracking waves of hurt through my limbs and head – but it was manageable. I could live through it. I didn’t feel like the pain had weakened over time, rather that I’d grown strong enough to bear it..(read more HERE)
You just woke up. It’s a new day and just the thought of getting out of bed and facing the new day is scaring you to death! You feel lonely, robbed… empty. The emotions are raving inside your fragile body and you are feeling so steeped in pain… just one more hit from life and you are hardly ever gonna find the strength to get back up!
Memories from the past are running through your mind… moments of happiness, pride, satisfaction… as if they are reinforcing your desperation and dead-lock… the desperation that your future will never get close to the beauty of your past days!
That’s how my day looked, exactly 5 years ago. On that day… (read more HERE)
