The “Noodles”:
2-3 medium-sized zucchinis, julienned lengthwise into zucchini noodles
Bolognese Sauce:
250 grams minced meat ( pork and beef)
1 tomato- peeled and cut
1/2 jar of home made tomato sauce
1/2 head of onion, diced small
1 small carrot, diced small
1/2 stick of celery, diced small
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tsp basil
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt
pepper
butter
Directions:
1.Heat the butter and brown the minced meat.
2.Add diced onions, celery, carrots and garlic. Sauté them, until they get tender.
3.Add the peeled tomatoe and the jar of tomato sauce to the saucepan.
4.Add the spices.
5. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes in a low heat.
6.Julienne the zucchinis into spaghetti noodles.
7.Steam the spaghetti noodles for five minutes. Drain the water. Place them in a plate. When the sauce is ready add it to the noodles.
