Just joking, but if you are like me and you prefer eating high fat- low carb type of diet, here is what you could do with the chicken meat you bought! Personally I prefer fatty cuts of meat and chicken is too “dry” for me! And that’s how you eat chicken! You stuff it with veggies and olives, you wrap it in bacon, put some butter and it is good to be eaten! 😉
Before you get crazy in the kitchen, go ahead and read what the experts said, I can’t wait to share with you a project I’ve been working on. It’s called IFS Journal- my FREE online magazine. Go ahead and subscribe for it HERE.
And in case you wonder what is the recipe, here it is:
Ingredients:
600-700grams chicken meat ( breasts or thighs)
6-7 pieces of bacon
butter
For the filling:
300 grams olives
2-3 baked red peppers
1/2 carrot
250grams mushrooms
spanich
For the meat:
1tea spoon honey
1table spoon vinegar
black pepper
salt
Directions:
Mix the honey, the vinegar, the black pepper and the salt. Then pour them on the meat and leave it to soak for an hour.
Cut all the veggies, together with the olives. Mix them and put part of the mixture on each piece of meat. Wrap it around in bacon and add some butter.
Bake on 220 degrees until the meat is ready.
