The other day, I posted this picture of raw, chocolate balls. They were my present from one of my beautiful clients Daniela. I really appreciate presents like that. When somebody takes the time to prepare something by himself. It really shows respect, care and love.
Most of you wanted the recipe, so I asked her and I am gonna share it with you. Initially, she saw the recipe HERE where you can find more great ideas for healthy treats.
Ingredients:
250 grams raw nuts ( of your choice) – I am a fan of cashews and almonds
About 200 grams of mixed dried fruits ( dates, prunes, apricots)
50-60 grams of raw cocoa powder
a couple sprinkles of coconut flakes
Directions:
1.Blend the nuts in a food processor, until you get the kind of crumbs mixture. Place them in a bowl.
2. Blend the dried fruits until combined.
3.Add back the crumbled nuts to the dried fruits and re-blend until you get the doughy kind of texture.
4.Then add the cacao powder and blend. If you have coconut flakes, add them as well.
5. With the help of a spoon, take a spoonful of the mixture and shape it into a ball. You can roll them in coconut, chia seeds.
6.Refrigerate for an hour and enjoy.
