Shocking, right? You never thought that was possible! People always whine how they can’t eat healthy and change their habits, because it is more expensive. Tell you the truth there is one thing I really detest- people who claim something to be true, when they have never tried it themselves. I am tired of hearing wide spread myths, being stated as personal opinions that can’t be argued or refuted.

That’s why today I will show you how my healthy lifestyle saved me time and money:

1.I don’t eat for entertainment, I eat for fuel

Now I don’t eat out of boredom, I don’t eat for entertainment, I don’t make food restaurants to be the main place for dates with my friends, I don’t look on food as an occasion to celebrate.

Instead today I use food as fuel. That means I eat as much as I need to satisfy my energy needs and the needs of my body.

That means I don’t eat as much food, as I used to, but I still eat enough, because today my food is calorie dense, clean and nutritious. Back in the days I used to spend more money on food that never satisfied my hunger, food that just made me crave more and more food. So, even if some of the healthy products I use today, cost more than the junk, at the end of the day my food bill is less than it used to be!

2.I don’t pay for the profit of the owner, I pay for the food

Today I don’t pay the overvalued prices of steaks, burgers, fruits, veggies, soda and so forth. I don’t buy my food from fast food restaurants, from neighborhood restaurants, the mall or other similar places.

Today I buy my food from farmers, local stores or from my village. Today my food costs less and it has better quality.

It is much cheaper to buy a piece of meat and cook it by yourself, than go out and order a steak.

Today I don’t pay the higher prices of food ordered in restaurants, because I don’t need to contribute for the profit of the owner!

Today my food is cheaper, tastier and with higher quality!

3.I don’t waste my time waiting in queues and restaurants, I spend that time cooking

Today I don’t waste my time waiting on long queues, just to order a big sandwich or another meal in a fast food restaurant.

Today I don’t wait in the restaurant for the waitress to come and get my order.

Today I use that time, to cook my meals for the whole week, so I will have something healthy and nutritious every single work day.

Today I use my time to keep myself healthy and energetic, and not nervously knocking with my foot on the floor, waiting for the waitress to come or the chief to prepare my meal.

4.I use my money for different activities and don’t spend them on doctors and pills

Today I use my money to try different sports, different outdoor activities, to travel and enjoy my life. And if I didn’t lead the healthy lifestyle I do today, probably I’d be sick, tired and depressed. Probably I would visit the doctor a lot more often than I do now. Probably I would give more money for pills, than I give for food.

So, healthy eating saves me the money, that other people give for doctors and pills. Healthy eating saves me the time, that other people use to go to hospitals and doctors.

In the short term healthy eating might cost me the same as unhealthy eating, but in the long term it saves a lot of money and time. In the long term it saves you a lot of hard moments, a lot of depressing moments. In the long term healthy eating will give you back, more than it costs!

Training is rehearsal for the life itself; this is the place, where on a few square meters in the IFS you can experience each of the possible sensations- triumph, fall, disappointment, hope, will, weakness, and most of all power. The place, where in “monitoring conditions”” you can remind your body how to move correctly, how to work in your interest. Everything I have tried to achieve through IFS and the trainings is to help people bring back their consciousness, health and freedom to be who they are-without doubting. I have given myself time to re-build and to re-invent myself! Give yourself time as well. Come and train with us in IFS!
