
It’s time for another delicious, healthy recipe. This one was sent to me by Deliana Nateva. I really love eating liver or gizzards, so I tried it immediately and it tastes great!
Ingredients:
500-600 grams chicken gizzards
2 eggs
1 head onion
1 baked pepper
3-4 table spoons tomato sauce
a couple mushrooms
butter
salt
oregano
parsley
Directions:
1. Boil the gizzards for about 40 minutes. Strain them from the bouillon.
2. Stew them in butter and onion.
3. Then add pepper, tomato sauce and mushrooms plus some spices ( salt, oregano, parsley). If it seems dry, add some more bouillon.
4. Divide the mixture in crocks and bake for about 10 minutes. Then break one egg on top and return in the oven for another 10 minutes.
