Seems like the whole week will be dedicated to posts about nutrition, but right now this topic is close to my heart. Sometimes I get irritated by the misleading information about nutrition and weight loss that is being spread in our community.
It looks like nowadays everybody who can lose 30 pounds can write a book or create a fan page and teach people “how to eat healthy and work out properly”. As it is said there are people for everything, no matter how dumb the advises of some fitness “guru” are, he will always have followers.
An argument that people use to defend their diet is “it works”. Let me ask you, exactly how it works? How do you understand that this diet works? Just because you are losing weight? There are a bunch of diseases that are “accompanied” with weight loss. Does that (more…)
