We are getting better at cooking healthy desserts :))

My wonderful co-worker- Victor, had a birthday. I have two favorite presents- a book or something handmade/ home prepared. Vic appreciates healthy desserts and I decided to make him my favorite healthy chocolate bars.

At the end, I decided to use part of the mixture and make some healthy chocolate balls.

And what is a person if he cooks alone? That is why I had Ivaylo cook with me. Cooking is a lot of fun, when you share it with wonderful people.

When somebody has a birthday, they usually assume that their nutrition is cursed to failure, because you can’t celebrate your birthday without FORBIDDEN foods.

Personally I don’t like labeling food as “allowed” and “forbidden”. In my opinion food is either healthy- such that gives your body what it needs or unhealthy- such that robs it and harms it!

That is why my advice would be, if you’d like to eat something sweet, cook it yourself! You have no idea what is the advantage of homemade food, compared to processed foods, bought from the supermarket.

Today, I will share with you a recipe for the delicious chocolate bars and healthy chocolate balls.

Ingredients:

For the filling:

 100 grams walnuts ( soak them in advance)

100 grams shredded coocnut

80 grams raw,  sunflower seeds

50 grams dates ( pitted)

50 grams sesame seeds

2 table spoons butter ( melted)

vanilla up to your taste

For the chocolate:

6 table spoons natural cocoa powder

2table spoons honey

2table spoons butter

milk

vanilla

Directions:

 1.Puree the dates. Drop some water, so you could puree them easier. Blend until you get a mixture, which resembles dough. Add vanilla and butter and mix it again.

If your mixture is dry, add either more butter, or more dates. ( taste it and if you prefer it to be sweeter add some honey)

2.Shape the bars or balls, depending on the shape you want for your dessert.

The chocolate:

1. Melt the butter, add honey, cocoa and vanilla and stir until you get a homogeneous mixture. Then add a little milk, so the mixture becomes more liquid like.

2.With a spoon, pour the chocolate on the bars.

The chocolate will become “hard”pretty quick, then periodically place it on the stove and if you need to, add some more milk.

The chocolate balls:

As I said, I decided to make some chocolate balls, and I added part of the chocolate, to the bar mixture. I mixed it good and then I shaped some chocolate balls. You can decorate them with raw nut.

Leave the desserts in the fridge. I promise you that this will be the most delicious, healthy dessert you’ve made!

Training is rehearsal for the life itself; this is the place, where on a few square meters in the IFS you can experience each of the possible sensations- triumph, fall, disappointment, hope, will, weakness, and most of all power. The place, where in “monitoring conditions”” you can remind your body how to move correctly, how to work in your interest. Everything I have tried to achieve through IFS and the trainings is to help people bring back their consciousness, health and freedom to be who they are-without doubting. I have given myself time to re-build and to re-invent myself! Give yourself time as well. Come and train with us in IFS!
