Today I have a wonderful recipe about a healthy, raw cake, which is the masterpiece of Maria Doncheva. In the future I intend on inviting Maria for an interview, because I think that her knowledge would be helpful for a lot of the women who follow my blog. Who is Maria?
This is me!
I am a mother of two beautiful children and a breastfeeding consultant.
I’ve been trying to eat healthy and take care of myself, even before I had my children, but now that I have them I have even better motivation to do it.
I prepared the cake for my mother’s birthday and it was provoked by a recipe on your blog.
In two weeks I will be 30, but I feel not more than 21 years old. I am always with a smile and always positive.
And now the recipe.
For the base:
1 cup grounded almonds
1 table spoon cocoa
15-20 blended dates
2 table spoons coconut butter
Mix everything together and spread in a pan.
If it is too dry, add some more dates. If it is sticky- add more nuts.
*For every cup of almonds, you need 15-20 dates. According to the size of the base, you’d like to have, consider the quantity you should add.
For the cream:
1 cup of cashew ( soak it before that)
1 avocado
Cocoa up to your taste
100 grams cocoa butter
Soak the cashew in water. Blend with a little water, cocoa and avocado, until it gets the texture of cream. Add the water little by little.
Then melt about 100 grams cocoa butter and add 2 table spoons cacao to it.
Mix the cashew cream with the cocoa butter mixture. Stir good and then spread it on the base.
Decorate and you will have delicious, healthy cake.
