Sometimes we spend a long time, wandering through the mazes of our own life. As if we know what we are looking for, we know the direction, but when we start walking on the path, it feels as if every road leads to a dead end. We walk back and forth, we think that every time we are approaching the situation differently, and at the end the lesson shows that every time we make the same mistake- just the situation and the characters in it are different.
Sometimes a person should get lost a bunch of times and fail to realize why it happens. You ask yourself a lot of questions, but you never manage to formulate the properly, so you can get the answer.
I’ve lost myself countless times and probably I will lose myself twice as much. While you are wandering it is easy to fool yourself that nothing has meaning and that you are not “predestined” to be and have what you long for. And one day something happens- by accident- just like everything happens, when you’ve previously invited it with your intention, and then with your actions. Coincidence and the unexpected, are always a fruit of a long preparation in the past.
Probably being lost and wandering around is just a chance and an opportunity- the needed distance, which we should cover, so we can gather what we need; even if sometimes this is just to put our own self and our own thoughts together; to find what is truly meaningful; to throw the “filling” and open space for something more.
In order to attract in your life, people and situations- those that you want to be part of your life, you should first open some space for them- in yourself, in your life, in your daily schedule.
Sometimes it seems as if we are stuck in one place and no matter how desperately we try, we can’t get on the next level; we can’t make the step forward. Feels as if something is not enough- strength, confidence, enough qualities; enough support; enough inspiration or motivation.
I was thinking what is it that helps us in moments like this, to start moving again; to dig our own self out of the deep whole we are stuck and progress towards our goals and the meaning we are after.
Usually the moving force is always something hidden, something encoded deep in our own self and our essence, but often times it needs to be provoked or taken out in some way. I think that we have unlimited potential, but most people rarely use it, just because they do not suspect its existence. Then something or somebody appears in your life and give you the chance- the chance your fears, uncertainty, lack of confidence to settle down in the beautiful silence of their presence and allow your abilities to emerge on the top. To get to the place where they will manage to attract our attention and hint us about their existence; to hint us that we can use them and grow more.
I believe that a person builds his own fate. I also believe that on the way, in every stage of our life, depending on what we hide in our unconsciousness, we open the door of our life for people who are already what we haven’t yet managed to become, to create or to develop. We meet people, who enter our home (life), silently. Without being intruders. Without demanding. Without being judgmental. People who give you the space and the opportunity to be yourself. People who see your disadvantages, but they do not judge them, but instead they show you how to overcome them and how to turn them into your strength. Not because they consider themselves great and powerful, but because they’ve already been there and now they come to you, giving you a helping hand and making your ride easier.
I think that in every one of us are encoded unlimited possibilities. I think that our relationships with people, every acquaintance; every conversation; gesture; advice or help, have the role of a program. A program, which once “installed” in our life, unlocks even more of our potential.
Something like computers. They have some parameters and sometimes, if we do not suspect about their capabilities, we accept that the computer can’t perform a particular operation. Then somebody comes, and he gives us the program, which in some manner improves the functions of the computer. Suddenly, the useless machine, turns out to be powerful and serves us so much better.
Maybe people in our life, those who we meet in the different stages of our life are something like “the program”, which we need in order to climb on the next level. People who through their own self, their own example and who they are, enrich and improve our own personality.
People who make you strive to be the best version of yourself- not in order to please them- they don’t demand it. They inspire you to do it for yourself!
