You know that I love reading. Last week I organized a charity initiative, here in my home town – Sofia, Bulgaria. I asked all of my Bulgarian followers, to take some time, and bring their favorite book- the one that changed their life. The book, which words pack the meaning they were looking for. The book, which lines managed to provoke the questions, that they needed to ask, in order to find the answers they were searching for. All the books, which we collected, will be given for charity today. They will become part of the library of an orphanage home, for children.

I am really thankful to everybody who took from their time and emotions, to personally bring the book. I heard all kind of comments about my initiative. Some of them were really skeptical. Comments like “How many children read?”; Ït is a good idea but I do not know how you will make these children to read.” and so forth, were the common opinions.

We gathered a lot of books. I am really happy with the books ( the headlines) you brought. It is obvious that every one of you picked valuable books. Books, among the pages of which, a person could find out more about his own self; a person could receive the opportunity to visit worlds, which seem unreachable in reality, and then close the pages, feeling a little bit more hopeful and confident in his own self and his ability to be the one he longs to be and live the life he dreams of.

1.Accepting the fact that the aches on your body after a workout are something normal

If you get injured from working out, and it is more a norm, than an exception, this means that you are working out wrong.

This means that:

-your technique is not good;

-that the intensity is more than your abilities;

-you are lifting heavier loads than you can handle;

-you do not give your body enough rest;

-you structure your workouts wrong;

-you ignore your weaknesses, instead of finding a way to work on them and eliminate them

In the past, I used to think that is normal to have a bunch of injuries and aches on my body. I thought that having lower back pain; feeling stiff in the morning; having your knees hurt when you squat or when you climb the stairs is just the way life goes. I used to think that this is the price, you should pay in order to be physically active. It turned out that this is just the price of being ignorant. It turned out that you can be in the best shape of your life, without having pain all over your body! Actually, you can wake up and celebrate your health and the fact that you are feeling great!

2.Giving priority to “the records” in the gym, while compromising your technique

You have no idea, how often I hear somebody telling me, how when you are going for a max, i.e. chasing your PR, you can compromise with your technique.

Really? Just think how ridiculous this statement is. Do you really think that it is ok to compromise your technique, in order to lift “x” kilograms- an achievement which will satisfy the momentum needs of your ego, just to leave you with the huge risk to get injured and endure the consequences for the rest of your life. Do you really evaluate your health so cheaply? Do you really think that your health and your well-being, could be belittled to a PR in the gym, which won’t, in any way,  improve the quality of your existence?

Saying that you’ve set a record in the gym, but you’ve herniated a disc on your back, is like saying “I made you some toast, but I burned the house.” The result is not worth the risk! Don’t you think?

There is just one achievement, which I acknowledge- a PR set with a perfect technique!

Raw Tropical Mousse with Banana, Avocado and Raw Cashew

This week, my mania are bananas and avocado. Yesterday, I bought one banana, one ripe avocado and my favorite raw cashew. I got back home and I decided that it was time to create a new masterpiece in the kitchen. I gathered the ingredients I had in hand ( that is how the most delicious meals are created) and I got busy cooking.

It turned out to be a great tropical mousse. As usual it is really quick to prepare and tastes delicious.

Sometimes I wonder why people buy sweet stuff from the supermarket, when raw, healthy desserts are the most delicious thing in the world.

I adore cooking. This is one of my hobbies, which always nails my attention in the present moment and allows me to create something different and delicious. When I am in the kitchen, I have the opportunity to experiment and eagerly anticipate the result. My experiments this week, led to this delicious raw muffin, which has the taste of Snickers. It is really easy to cook. Try it and then share your cooking creations with me. You have no idea how much I love the pictures you send me! These are some of my happiest moments!

How was your week? Mine is busy but satisfying.

Lately, I’ve been working on a lot of things, and as it is with every new thing, they require a lot of dedication and the feeling is as if nothing is happening. Fortunately, it i snot the first time I am starting something new and different and I am aware that every beginning is hard, but the efforts are worth it.

This is the reason I read more books, than blog posts, because I do not have a lot of time to sit in front of the PC and I read mainly on the go.

I might not manage to answer everybody, personally, but I promise that you will receive the answers of your questions in one way or another.

I am a ‘something-searcher person” and I have devoted my life to the mission to reveal myself, to improve, to collect the pieces of puzzle in my own nature, so that to give and to receive from life as much as possible. My Life is history, full of broken dreams, falls, disappointments and finally achieved awareness, that it all depends on me and that each opportunity can be a materialized reality. We only have to think and act in a way, which will lead us on the road to its implementation. The most valuable resources we have are our time and health, and our Body is the instrument, through which we use them, to crate the world we live in. I dedicated my life to share myself, the wisdom and experience, which had left after the mistakes I had done. I am doing this in order to help people find their way, which will let them “’reinvent”’ themselves, to restore their health, confidence and trust for life. I wish they could realize their own potential. Training is rehearsal for the life itself; this is the place, where on a few square meters in the IFS you can experience each of the possible sensations- triumph, fall, disappointment, hope, will, weakness, and most of all power. The place, where in “monitoring conditions”” you can remind your body how to move correctly, how to work in your interest. Everything I have tried to achieve through IFS and the trainings is to help people bring back their consciousness, health and freedom to be who they are-without doubting. I have given myself time to re-build and to re-invent myself! Give yourself time as well. Come and train with us in IFS!
