If you follow my Facebook page(HERE),you’ve probably noticed that I eat organ meats and particularly liver very often. Some time ago I found a great recipe, with a trick to cook juicy, soft beef liver and it truly works. The liver becomes delicious and easy to chew.
Today I will share the trick with you.
800 grams beef liver
1 tea spoon black pepper and caraway
butter for the pan
the juice of two lemons (about 120 ml.)
6-7 garlic cloves
veggies of your choice ( I prefer zucchini, peppers and onion)
1.The liver should be cut in smaller pieces ( I prefer lengthwise) and then place it for an hour or two in the milk.
2. Strain the liver and sprinkle the spices.
3.Put the liver and the veggies in the pan, together with some butter and bake until it is ready.
4.Take it out in a plate and cover with a lid.
5.Meanwhile press the garlic and mix it with the lemon juice.
6. When the liver is ready, pour the lemon mixture on top and cover with the lid again. Leave it for 30-40 minutes.
