As I’ve said a billion times, nothing could make for a better dessert, than real, fresh fruit. I found this recipe and I adapted it a little bit to my taste and understandings of healthy. If you wonder what you could prepare for a treat, for some kind of occasion, I think this should be your choice. Easy but delicious!
Ingredients:
50g nut butter
¾ cup of finely chopped mixed raw nuts( cashew and almonds)
1 banana, peeled and cut into 8 chunks
125g strawberries, halved
1 kiwi fruit, peeled and cut into 4-6 chunks
1 nectarine, cut into 4-6 chunks
wooden skewers
1/2 table spoon natural cocoa powder
Directions:
Line a small baking tray with baking paper.
Mix the cocoa powder and the nut butter.
Dip each banana chunk into nut butter mixture , making sure it is covered evenly.
Then dip it into the chopped nuts.Use a fork to cover with nuts and transfer to lined baking tray.
Place in fridge for 1-2 hours. When banana is ready, thread banana and fruit chunks onto about 4 wooden skewers in colorful patterns.
Serve cold or if you wish frozen!
