Today’s post won’t be too informative, but I will suggest you a great exercise, which most of you haven’t tried, because it is not a popular movement. But still, the exercise is great, when it comes to stabilization and strengthening of your core muscles. Besides that it trains stabilization in your shoulders, which is always a great thing.
I’d place the exercise, in the category of handstand walking progressions.
Besides the use for your core strength, the exercise is a lot of fun to do, especially when you do it in front of an audience and you enjoy their perplexed looks.
My sister made the video and while I was doing the exercise, everything she had to say to the surprised eyewitnesses was “Yes, probably I should take her to kindergarten again.” 🙂
The exercise is called alligator walk and if you don’t have an alligator in your gym, it is your turn to become one.
What you should be careful about, when you perform it is to keep your abs tight and tuck your hips, as you do with every exercise ( or at least I hope you do).
The exercise is not for beginners, so if you do not have some solid experience in the gym, do not rush trying it.

I like trying new abdominal workouts and “Alligator Walk” looks promising. It is a good plank variation and it helps to to train arms, chest and shoulders as well. Thanks for sharing.
