Life is dynamic. Life is a rhythm. Life doesn’t stand up stagnation. This means a constant searching and discovery of your own place in life. It means finding your own passion, which fits your own, individual understandings and not the common sense.
The day, when I realized that life can’t stand up stagnation, everything changed. Before that, I was constantly wondering, why every time I create a comfort zone, where I am content with what I am and what I am doing , something happened. Something, that literally stirred my life. Something that reversed my tidy world and turned it into chaos.
Well, I found out that the problem is hidden inside of me. The problem was my stubborn denial to realize the laws of life. Life can’t stand stagnation!
This means that if we don’t strive to create new things, to grow, to help others change their own world for the better, life, just like a caring mother, will take everything in its own control and finally it will force us to do it.
I realized that when I achieve something, I should be aware that it is just temporary. Change is inevitable. It is a real utopia, to fool myself that I will be able to preserve the situations and my life, just the way they are in that particular moment.
But change, leaving your comfort zone, doesn’t mean that you are gonna end up at a place that doesn’t please you.
The conscious efforts, made on a daily basis; the conscious effort to move forward, or sometimes backwards, are what guarantees an easier journey on the road of life.
When we allow ourselves to stay in one place, it is a matter of time for Life to send us people or situations, which will reverse our tidy world. People or situations, which will force us to move, through painful lessons. People who will force us to move with the natural rhythm of life. People who will force us to provide the dynamic, which life requires.
I realized this and my day is not the same anymore. Every morning I wake up, and I wouldn’t let my day to be the usual repetition of the day before that. I wake up and I tell myself, that today I have to make something different; that today I should help myself grow and become wiser. I decide that I have to help somebody move one step closer to his goal. It might be some kind of a really small help, but it will be still out of the frames of stagnation.
I decide that I’ve walked a long way and that I am content with what I do, but that I need to make more ideas work; that I need to use more of my potential.
I learned that a stagnating life, resembles a swamp. If you allow yourself to stay in one place, everything beautiful will gradually rotten and it will finally settle down on the bottom. It will turn into mire. And what’s left on the surface, will be just a smelly, disgusting sight, that will remind of a life, which has been taken away.
And sometimes, a passenger will pass by. He will pick up a stone and throw it in the swamp. And this will move the backwater and remind of the beauty, which exists.
Well, life is not any different. If we don’t make the daily effort, to move, to provide the rhythm and dynamic, needed for existence, life will “lean down”, it will pick up a stone and throw it at us. Not in order to hurt us; not in order to make us break down, but in order to make us move!
Life is what we make out of it. I refuse to make my life a stagnant swamp. What about you?
