Yesterday I had a great workout with one of my new clients! While we were discussing her goals, she said something really good: “ I want to have a good looking body, but I want to become strong! Until now, the way I worked out helped me achieve my goals, when it comes to appearance, but it didn’t help me become functional!”
People often ask “What should I eat for breakfast?”. Usually this is asked for the morning breakfast, as well as for the afternoon breakfast. In this post, I shared my opinion on the morning breakfast(Carbs for breakfast! BIG mistake!( read HERE), and today I will emphasize on the afternoon breakfast!
I just want to mention, that I tried to find some data, about where does the notion about eating sweets for breakfast come from. Unfortunately I didn’t find an authentic information. But I still have some hypothesis, and some of them are as follows: (more…)
Last week during one of my workouts, there was a big argument! Of course, once again the topic was about women and weights. That turns out to be a big problem! 😉 After the conversation, one of my clients asked me the following question “Why women who lift weights, don’t get the look of women weightlifters?”
I’d say that this is a really good question! I think that a lot of women are afraid of weights, because their idea of the body, they will get with this type of training is the complete opposite of everything they are aiming for! But as always, you (more…)
Cardio… just the thought of spending time on the treadmill or the stepper, makes me feel nervous and weak. Ok, maybe I am exaggerating a little bit, but if you’ve been reading my blog, you know that I am not keen on doing cardio and I consider that a person could get leaner and look better, without doing it- if he/ she has a good diet and lifts heavy weights!
Besides that, probably you are aware that instead of spending 40 minutes (more…)
We spend the bigger part of our lives working! And unfortunately most people hate their job! As it is said, people spend their whole week waiting for Friday, spend their whole year waiting for summer and spend their whole life waiting to be happy… and thus, they spend their years waiting…
We look on our job as something mandatory, something we do out of need. You are supposed to work, so you can pay your bills, so you can buy food, clothes and other material stuff; so you could have the “freedom” to go out at night, to go on vacations…
We spend our day bored, with feelings of self-pity- how we are cursed to spend our so precious time working! How sad! Or maybe not really?
How is your weekend? I hope that you woke up feeling inspired and motivated to meet the new day and make it count! As always I couldn’t wait to get out of bed and get busy doing my favorite things! Today I have another easy and delicious recipe for you! Probably you are sick of listening to me, telling you how fruits are the best dessert you could have and how I don’t understand how a person could find a processed junk, to be tastier than a fresh piece of fruit! But I will keep on repeating it, until I see more people who really believe in my words and act according to them! 😉
It’s Saturday! How was your week? Tell me that you are getting stronger and healthy eating is becoming easier! 😉 I had a busy week, but I love weeks like this, because it makes me feel accomplished and satisfied! I love my clients. They really make my life complete! It is so inspiring to have the daily opportunity to see people break their limits, set PRs, overcome fears, and just reach their full potential! That’s my fuel! Their hard work and motivation is what gives me strength and energy to live a life full of purpose and happiness! 🙂
Don’t forget to eat clean during the weekend! If you crave something sweet, don’t eat junk food! Just check out some of the recipes on my blog and prepare something healthy! 😉
What is the most common recommendation that you’ve heard about healthy eating? Probably “eat more often, but in smaller quantities”. But is that really the best thing you could do?
This is …. That is the kind of “ it doesn’t have one particular, accurate answer. You will meet as many followers of the “more often, in smaller quantities” mantra, as those of the mantra of eating 2-3 times a day, in quantities big enough to make you feel full. That is why today I decided to share my opinion on the topic, which is based on my own experience and the results I got/
For a long time I was following “the rule” of (more…)
One mistake that women and sometimes men often make, when they follow a nutrition plan is that one day, they overeat and on the next day, they are trying to make up for it and compensate by not eating at all, or even worse eating just fruits, thinking that this will”rub out” the bigger quantities of food form the day before!
What does it happen in this case?
This only interferes with you making nutrition part of your lifestyle!
Exactly how does it interfere? Well, if you (more…)
Last week I gave you a little “homework”- to start analyzing your walking pattern and establish if you step the right way!( read HERE) I hope that you really did it and that you pay attention to the way you walk.
I don’t know if you are interested in this, but I’ve said more than once, that today I really acknowledge that workouts aren’t just a chaotic jumping, doing of different exercises and sweating in the gym. In reality they have a more meaningful purpose- to help us stay healthy and get rid of unwanted pain!
What do workouts and your walking pattern have I common? (more…)
At times I really wanna think that more people realize the fact that women and lifting weights aren’t two incompatible things. I am fooling myself that this is happening, whenever I spend too much time with people who have been working out for years, people who have achieved great results- the results that everybody dreams to have, but rarely somebody works hard enough to achieve!
The last week, I had to spend more time with people, who reminded me that even though there is a light at the end of the tunnel, most still have wrong understanding about women and weights! I remembered lines like “ You look really good, but if you keep on lifting these weights you will get bulky”; “Lifting weights is bad for women”; “ Women who lift weights aren’t attractive” and so on.
For those of you, who compliment a woman who lifts weights and after that you warn her, how if she keeps on lifting weights, she will get bulky, let me tell you something (more…)
People don’t live mediocre, because their true self is mediocre. They act this way, because they abandoned their true self! They adopted the false perception of people around them and started seeing themselves as “not special” and “not smart enough”. And because this is the way they see themselves, this is the way they act!
The headline was just a desperate try to attract your attention! I don’t think you are mediocre! 😉
I often mention, how I wish more people could see the world, the way I see it. If they could look through the surface and beyond the limitations, and see the sparkle of the unlimited. If behind the ugliness, they could see the glazing smile of the beauty. If behind the clumsy, they could see the seed of potential, which is waiting to be “fed”, in order to burst!
In each situation and every time I meet a person, I give my best to never judge others! I give my best to never make conclusions way too fast- about other people’s behavior or words. But I hardly ever succeed to do this, when somebody is belittling the hard work and accomplishments of others. No matter how hard I try, I always get a little irritated when somebody instead of setting the fire, from the sparkle of talent in somebody, gives his best to extinguish it!

I am a ‘something-searcher person” and I have devoted my life to the mission to reveal myself, to improve, to collect the pieces of puzzle in my own nature, so that to give and to receive from life as much as possible. My Life is history, full of broken dreams, falls, disappointments and finally achieved awareness, that it all depends on me and that each opportunity can be a materialized reality. We only have to think and act in a way, which will lead us on the road to its implementation. The most valuable resources we have are our time and health, and our Body is the instrument, through which we use them, to crate the world we live in. I dedicated my life to share myself, the wisdom and experience, which had left after the mistakes I had done. I am doing this in order to help people find their way, which will let them “’reinvent”’ themselves, to restore their health, confidence and trust for life. I wish they could realize their own potential. Training is rehearsal for the life itself; this is the place, where on a few square meters in the IFS you can experience each of the possible sensations- triumph, fall, disappointment, hope, will, weakness, and most of all power. The place, where in “monitoring conditions”” you can remind your body how to move correctly, how to work in your interest. Everything I have tried to achieve through IFS and the trainings is to help people bring back their consciousness, health and freedom to be who they are-without doubting. I have given myself time to re-build and to re-invent myself! Give yourself time as well. Come and train with us in IFS!
