
Since I removed junk food and processed food from my diet, I always wonder what treats I could prepare for my birthday or for another occasion. You know how everybody expects you to bring treats for your birthday. Since I am deeply convinced in what I preach I am not a person who cares only about myhealth and don’t give a damn about others. I could easily take a box of chocolates from the superstore but it would be against my beliefs. So I found the solution. Homemade, healthy “chocolates”. They are really easy, and are a lot of fun to do them. You could be really creative!
The ingredients you need for 6 chocolates:
150 grams nuts( I used walnuts and almonds)
150 grams dates
1 table spoon cinnamon
1 tea spoon ginger
sesame seeds/shredded coconut/ cocoa
Preparation:
You need the help of your blender. Put the nuts and blend them for 2 minutes, untill they get the texture of flour. Then add the dates and blend for another two minutes. Add the cinnamon and the ginger. Blend again. Then shape the chocolates with your hand or with the help of a spoon. After that roll them in sesame seeds/ shredded coconut or cocoa. Here we go. You have the most delicious healthy cookies for your birthday! I bet that the guests will want more and will leave your house with the recepie!
