Cellulite… I know that just the sound of this word makes you wrinkle your face and secretly, full of timidity looking down your thighs, with the hope that you are not one of those people that have the “orange” skin.
I am sure that more than 90% of women, waste thousands dollars every year, for all kind of anti- cellulite products that promise to remove cellulite forever. I don’t wanna be rude so I will help you, get to my conclusion by asking you a couple questions… Do you have some results from these products? Did you get the promised effect? Did your skin became smoother than ever? Is it true that your cellulite is gone?
… yes, after you agree with my opinion that anti-cellulite products don’t work, I will give you a better solution and probably I will save you some money or at least I will help you spend them for something else!
Why do you have cellulite?
Let’s first find out why you have cellulite and then we will get to the solution of the problem!
The reason is hidden in your collagen. Collagen is a protein that helps the formation of connective tissue in your skin, tendons and ligaments. If this collagen doesn’t form the right way or it is damaged in some way, the connective tissue will become too thin or with holes. Thus, the fats that are under the skin, will make their way through the holes of the connective tissue and you will get cellulite.
In order for collagen to be formed properly, it needs oxygen and other nutrients that are delivered through the blood flow.

And here the problems occur. With age, levels of estrogen in women’s bodies decrease. Blood vessels stop functioning properly and thus the oxygen can’t be delivered to collagen and cellulite occurs.
This is the reason about cellulite in elder women… and what is the reason in younger women?
The terrible food we eat! You know that everything in your body comes to balance. Just like decreased estrogen is bad, too much estrogen ain’t good either. Processed foods have a bunch of nutrients and hormones that mess with your body’s hormones and proper functioning.
The higher the estrogen levels, the more fat is formed. Thus fats in your body get too much and in reality the connective tissue turns out to be way too weak, to “keep” them and fats find their way through it!
It sounds scary, right?
But it isn’t!
Now, just for a second, forget about all commercials and all anti- cellulite products. Stop wasting your money and spend them for something that will help you for real- good food and workouts!
In order to get rid of cellulite, you need to start eating real, nutritious food, that will give your body what it needs to function properly. Real food won’t mess with your hormones and your body’s functions! The better the quality of your food, the better your body functions!

Besides that you need to start working out. Exercise improves blood flow to your connective tissue and helps the muscles that keep your skin tight to get stronger.
As I already mentioned, excess fats also lead to cellulite. In order to get rid of cellulite, you will need to say goodbye to some fat. You are gonna do this with proper nutrition and good workouts!
Whatever you do, whatever the problem, obviously workouts and real food are the solution and the path to happiness and satisfaction!

And because I do not want you to think that I am just being lame and boring, I will share you my own experience. As you might already know, once upon a time I was on the see food diet- I see food and I eat it. I had A LOT of cellulite! I remember that I was ashamed of wearing shorts, because of my cellulite. Well… a couple years later, a lot of good food and kick ass workouts and cellulite is gone in the history! 😉
